About this course

The Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT) is a five-year degree program that teaches students the knowledge and skills in the rehabilitation and treatment of individuals with disabilities resulting from injury, illness, and aging. Students are trained in different methods on how to restore physical function, such as the use of hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, radiant and superficial heating, therapeutic ultrasound and therapeutic exercise regimens and techniques, patient education and training.

Foreign Students Admission Requirements:

Notice of Acceptance (NOA) with the school official dry seal, addressed to: - The Director - Visa Division – Office of Consular Affairs Department of Foreign Affairs - Students Visa issued by Philippine Foreign Service (for more than 1 year or bachelor degree courses) - Study Permit issued by BID (for special course or less than 1 year courses) - Authenticated photocopies of Students Visa, ACR, Residence Certificate - Five (5) copies of the 1998 Revised Personal History Statement (PHS), duly accomplished and signed by the applicat in English and in national alphabet, accompanied by personal seal of any original left and right hand prints on PHS and original photo High School Transcript of Records/Scholastics Records, duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in the applicant’s country of origin or legal resident “SEEN and NOTED” stamp is not acceptable. A notarized affidavit of support and proof of adequate accommodation and subsistence school dues and other incidental expenses. Foreign Second Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements - Second Coursers: Admission into the College is selective. Any student who seeks acceptance should meet the following requirements favorably: A. About the Provider

De Ocampo Memorial College (DOMC) is a private educational institution in Sta. Mesa, Manila. The institution offers courses related to the field of oral health. It was founded in 1913 and was first known as Colegio Dental del Liceo de Manila. The school was renamed eventually as the Philippine Dental College the following year. On March 25, 1916, the government authorized the college to confer the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and by 1932, its Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree was added to the list of programs recognized by the Philippine government. In 1966, The Philippine Dental College officially became De Ocampo Memorial College and it was later managed by the De Ocampo family.

Aside from Dentistry, DOMC has programs in Dental Hygiene,  Nursing, Psychology and Medical Technology. The college is accredited by agencies such as the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd). Other offerings include TESDA short courses in Caregiving, Dental Hygiene, Dental Technology, and in Health Aide Services. 

Since its foundation, The De Ocampo Memorial College has been dedicated to helping its students to realize their potential and committed to transform them into competent dental care professionals. The school has been actively producing dentists as well as successful passers of the Dental Hygienist and Dental Technologist Licensure Examinations yearly.
