About this course

The Master of Arts in Education program (MAED) is a two-year graduate program that reinforces the students’ understanding of educational theories, concepts, curriculum, and instructional techniques in order to further advance in their professional careers. It enhances the teachers’ theoretical and technical knowledge in teaching a specific subject area or professional area and prepares students for various administrative and supervisory positions in elementary, secondary, post-secondary and vocational programs. The program also gives emphasis on research and is geared towards equipping students with a variety of tools, techniques, and methodologies for conducting, critiquing, and evaluating research in education.

About the Provider

Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute Of Science And Technology (EARIST) is a state college situated in the city of Manila. It was named after the Filipino senator Eulogio Rodriguez.
 
The school was founded in 1945, specifically after Manila’s liberation. EARIST first operated as a high school with a name Eulogio Rodriguez Vocational High School (ERVHS). At that time, the school only has one room and 147 students. It was first located on the second floor of Mapa High School.

The school offers undergraduate and graduate programs related to Industrial Technology. Courses in Liberal Arts, Engineering and Education are available as well. It even has a distance learning program called Special Academic Program (SAP) designed for those who are staying abroad and have a desire to complete their degrees.
