The Associate in Computer Science program (ACS) provide knowledge and skills on basic computer programming, networking technology and database systems. The program aims to enhance the critical thinking and analytical skills of students, and to prepare students for work in the IT industry.

Foreign Students Admission Requirements:
Admission Requirements - Foreign Students: 1. Duly accomplished application form and application fee of US$ 50.00 2. Transcript of Records/ Scholastic Records• duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in the applicant’s country of origin or legal residence. 3. Authenticated copy of birth certificate 4. Police/ National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance• 5. Quarantine Medical Examination by the National Quarantine Office 6. Copy of the student’s Personal History Statement (PHS) duly signed by the student and a most recent 2″x 2″ photograph 7. Photocopy of the photograph, date and stamp of the latest arrival pages of the passport of the student Note: - For international students who have resided in the Philippines for less than 59 days, provide Police Clearance issued by the police authorities in the student’s country of origin or residence duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post having consular jurisdiction at the place. - The student’s passport must be presented at the Office of the Registrar and Admissions for verification.

Kalayaan College (KC) is a private educational institution in Quezon City founded in 2000. It was established and directed by University of the Philippines (UP) professors to provide quality education and professional training in science and information technology, humanities and communication, business administration, education and the social sciences. Kalayaan College offers bachelor’s degree programs under five (5) colleges which are accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd): Education, Humanities and Communication, Business Administration, Social Sciences, and Science and Information Technology.

Through a Memorandum of Agreement with the University of the Philippines Diliman, it currently follows the distinguished university’s curriculum and has employed UP teachers as its faculty members. Kalayaan College believes more youths should have access to UP quality education since various UP colleges impose quotas on their admission of students.
