About this course

This is a two-year course which combines technical computer skills with practical business knowledge to solve unique business issues. BIM seeks to educate students to understand and apply the theories and concepts of a broad, integrated curriculum covering computing, informatics, business fundamentals, and analytical decision-making. This is a ladderized course leading to BS Accountancy or BS Information Technology. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR BIM GRADUATES Graduates can immediately apply their information technology and business skills in a wide range of industries and companies. They can work administrative office jobs both in public and private. Entry-level Positions: Business Analyst, Associate Project Manager, Web Designer/Developer, Programmer/Database Administrator Mid-level Positions: Project Manager, IT/ERP Consultant, IT Manage/Team Leader. About the Provider

The Fisher Valley College (formerly The Fisher Valley School) is a private institution in Hagonoy, Taguig. It was established in 1986 to primarily provide quality, Christian education to the children in the area. In 1996, the school opened a college department and was renamed into a college. The college has an annex at C-5, Taguig and has a high school campus in Cagayan de Oro.

TFVC offers pre-school up to college education. Students who want to take up senior high in the school may choose from the four strands under the Academic Track. Those who intend to pursue their college education can choose from their programs under four departments: Computer Studies, Hospitality Management, Education, and Business Administration and Accountancy. Also available are TESDA courses in Bookkeeping, Commercial Cooking, and Food & Beverage Services, which all lead to a National Certificate (NC).

Throughout the years, the Fisher Valley College has remained consistent in developing the character of its students through education centered on Christian and Filipino values. The school has also been active in producing well-rounded graduates that supplied with the skills and knowledge essential for building the nation.
