Lapu-Lapu City College (LLCC) is a local higher educational institution in Cebu City. It was established in 2002 as the Lapu-Lapu City Public Technical-Vocational Tertiary School through the Sangguniang Panglungsod Resolution No. 1139-2002. This was a response to the lack of qualifications and skills of residents that fit the growing tourism in the region. The school was initially at the Marigondon National High School then was relocated in 2004 to the Science and Technology Education Center (STEC) in Basak. Six years later, the technical school became a college and had partnerships with the Cebu Normal University (CNU) and the Cebu Technological University (CTU) for its programs. In 2014, a 3.3-hectare site at Carajay, Gun-ob was obtained and became the new location for the College of Education.
LLCC currently has bachelor's degree programs in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Industrial Technology, Hospitality Management, and Tourism Management. These courses are offered by three academic units: the College of Education, College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and College of Technology. The first two colleges are in the Gun-ob Campus while the other is still at the STEC Basak Campus; however, a new building is being constructed at the new campus to soon accommodate the Industrial Technology classes.
