Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SCSIT) is a private higher educational institution in Cebu City. Its roots can be traced to the Salazar Construction Engineering Review founded in 1958. With the economic difficulties in the 1980s, the founders wanted to make education more accessible to students of the area, so they decided to open the Salcon Institute of Technology, initially offering a high school program.
Currently, SCSIT offers various undergraduate programs under seven academic units: the Colleges of Nursing, Criminology, Business and Hospitality Management, Maritime, Computer Studies, Engineering, and Education. The institution also has a Senior High School (SHS) department offering strands from the Academic and the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) tracks.
